WWE wrestler and former Real World and Challenge participant – Mike the Miz is the host for this reunion special. Not all of the couples are present, just the most prominent ones from the season – Johnny & Camila, Dunbar & Paula, Mark & Robyn, Anessa & Rachel, Ty & Emily, CT & Diem.
It is clear Johnny can make a career off of these challenges, he is on a lot of them and wins a lot of them, who needs a day job? Camila says he is a good partner, just not a good motivator. Interesting fact – Johnny and Camila hooked up in the tent the first night in Iceland – hey they had to keep warm. They all agreed the swimming through the water was the worst leg of that race. Bringing us up to date, Camila says she went to see Johnny and he was with his friends and pretty much ignored her, ouch! They are just friends.
Mark apologizes for not giving Robyn enough emotional support. He says he has a girlfriend back home, but should have given more to Robyn. Robyn just felt isolated.
Aneesa and Rachel are also just friends, no emotional feelings left.
CT and Diem…CT starts sweating, CT takes blame for not talking things through with Diem at the beginning of the show and says that’s what led her to explode. They claim they don’t have feelings for each other, but also don’t hate each other anymore either. The masses want to see them try again!
Move to Paula and Ty. Emily says she was never jealous of them being together. Paula doesn’t love Ty and says hooking up with him was a horrible idea and she is sorry for disrespecting her boyfriend at the time. It was a mistake and now she is alone without her BF and without Ty. Her and Ty are friends. Paula breaks down, can barely talk, starts hyperventilating and CT and Dunbar try to console her. Ty apologizes for putting Paula in that situation and for the timing, but says he enjoyed the time with Paula.
Again with the Emily covering herself in chocolate, she declares herself not a raciest, gets yelled at a bit and cries..again. Question, why didn’t Camila get more flack for her part in it?
Robyn flips on Johnny for calling her crazy…good for her! Stand up for yourself
Everyone agrees the challenges are fun, not humiliating – they push you to your limits and keep you from a desk job.
Mark says he started this franchise – being as old as MTV lol and may not be in retirement after all. Claiming “I’m the Rick Flare of this shit” and not wanting to let his fans down – we may see him again! Till next time.
