Emily Maynard opens with spending time at the park and pond with her daughter Ricki. She reminds us of how she lost her finance in a plane crash and then found out she was pregnant. Now at 26 years old she wants to get married and have more children. The house is quiet and she wants a companion. She won Brad’s season of the Bachelor and thought he was going to be her husband. They didn’t work out, but he taught her she can love again. Twice she thought she found her life partner, this is her third chance at love and she is ready for it!
Why Emily? Well, we heard about her plenty during Ashley’s season – when the bachelors were hoping Emily was the Bachelorette and were surprised when it was Ashley. Emily is a fan favorite.

Kalon, 27, former womanizer, ready for a change.
Ryan, 31, owner of pro-sports training facility.
Tony, 30, buys and sells lumber, obsessed with fitness, father to a 5 yr old.
Lerone, 29, real estate consultant in LA.
David, 32, Singer/songwriter in NY.
Charlie, 32, Recruiter.
Jeff, 27, CEO of water bottle company, part of proceeds go to charity.
Arie, 30, Race car driver. (like Emily’s ex-finance).
Emily arrives at the Mansion, of course looking stunning. They moved the filming to a new mansion, this time in Charlotte so; Emily can be close to her daughter. Wow, they really wanted her on the show! Emily tells Chris she wants lots of babies. He suggested not opening with that sentence to the guys. Emily says she will wait till maybe the 3rd date.

Guys roll up in the limo. They are excited and giddy about how beautiful she is.
Boom, Tony lets her know right off the bat he has a 5 year old.
Jeff shows up on a skateboard, making an impression, looks kinda young although he is 27. Stevie shows up with a boom box and dances his way to Emily. Tony shows up as prince charming with a shoe for Emily to put on…and…it fits! Will Emily be his princess?
A man dressed up as a old granny walks up with a cane and then strips the clothes off to hug Emily, he just wanted to stand out and then was blushing with embarrassment..ahhh. Travis brings in an egg that symbolizes Emily and Ricki – and he will take care of it. Two dudes speak Spanish to her. Water bottle man shows up in helicopter and you know the guys are hating on the spot.
First Cocktail Party – Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Chris had bobble heads of him and Emily made and they played out a skit, she was into him. Doug shares a letter his son wrote for Emily and she was so touched by it, she gave him the first impression rose. Everyone is happy Helicopter guy didn’t get it.
Rose Ceremony
We aren’t really attached to any guys yet, b/c we don’t really know them…
Bobble head Chris got first rose at the ceremony; Egg man got the last one and breathed a sigh of relief.
Brent – Man with 6 kids went home along with Jean-Paul, claiming this is a hard time, dude it was just a few hours. I think the man who dressed as a old lady went home too!
The season looks fun, emotional and I can’t wait to get started
