Part 1 of the Reunion
Host Joy Behar is surprised she can get all the mob wives in one room without a subpoena. The reunion replays a lot of the key moments from the season, beginning with Junior clips. Jen Grazino, Renee’s sister and one of the executive producers of the show is on stage to answer questions too. She doesn’t feel she or Renee should take blame for Junior’s behavior. Renee thinks he turned b/c he is selfish and evil. One major thing the show didn’t air was Renee was pregnant with Junior’s baby, b/c of all the stress he put her through, she miscarried and ended up in the hospital. She feels Junior totally schemed her, he proposed to her and even asked her dad for her hand in marriage again! What a joke…the whole time wearing a wire in his watch.
Joy asks why Jen didn’t stop filming Renee, but Renee didn’t want to stop the cameras. She said this is her world and part of the mob life, people should see what it really is. Interesting connection..remember when Renee bought Junior a new watch for his birthday and he wasn’t overly excited, well duh, b/c he couldn’t wear it, he had to keep wearing his wired watch for the Feds. He did cooperate with the Feds for several months. Renee heard recently Junior was rejected from the witness protection program b/c he lied about something to the Feds.
Joy asks the girls about their own vocabulary and plays clips where they all overuse words like “war, drama, i’m coming for you, i’m over it”. It is clear no one pisses off Big Ang and loves her. She says her 3rd set of implants are a size J – for jumbo.
Renee apologizes to Carla for their issues and accusing her of talking about things. Everyone then becomes upset about Carla talking on camera about Ramona and Karen after they all had their talks to bury the drama. They were hurt Carla said they all weren’t really friends. Carla’s defense was that they always talk about Drita and Drita is her friend.
Enter uproar. Karen hollers that Carla slept with a married man, Carla says no, that Karen did. Ramona is called a liar and a fool.
Joy leads the group to the night of Renee’s Celebration of Life party. Drita says her and Karen shouldn’t have even talked that night, let alone fight. Ramona says Drita is a mother, she likes her kids and if she walked by her on the street in a fight, she would help her. Ramona brings up her being a mother and for some reason Drita goes nuts and says not to talk about that. Maybe she is embarrassed, b/c mothers shouldn’t act like Drita does, always fighting. Drita challenges Ramona and wants to fight her and get it over with. Renee and everyone else on set gets in the middle trying to keep the two girls apart.
