Jennifer and Kenya finally showed up on the island. Tami, Shaunie, And Evelyn were on their cruise and Tami continued to talk and talk and talk. She finally emotionally sobered up about Kesha and told the other ladies she wanted to talk one on one with Kesha. Shaunie finally brought up the fact that Kesha didn’t say anything bad and that Tami just misunderstood what Kesha meant when she said she could have gone off on Tami. Where was that voice of reason during the Tami explosion? The sunset cruise took the girls by Jenn’s bungalow, but they did not waive or yell anything. Evelyn used that as a reason to talk about Jenn and her lack of loyalty to friends and her ex-husband. Jenn had dinner with Suzie and talked about the Kesha incident because that is what the show is about, which is news to Tami. Jenn was very emotional because the scenery reminded her of her honeymoon with Eric. Jenn seemed upset by Tami’s attack on Kesha and thinks fighting is stupid. She also said that she wanted nothing to do with Evelyn on any level. She also referenced how badass her lawyers were, which I think means she spent a lot of money for no reason. She asked Suzie to tell Shaunie that she wanted to talk. Later when Suzie gave the other girls the run down of her meal, once again talking about Jenn behind her back, Evelyn and Shaunie laughed because they said Jenn would reference one of her earlier trips.
Tami, Shaunie, Suzie, and Evelyn all went Jet skiing on the crystal clear blue water in Tahiti. These girls know how to vacation. Shaunie had a good-looking partner that she seemed to like. I want more Shaunie, she was actually a real basketball wife and she was married to one of the biggest stars in the league. Her experiences would seem to be better for TV. She also seems reasonable and intelligent and more than just a women who married for money. I also think she is very hot. Suzie, Tami, Evelyn, and Shaunie met to talk about why Kenya and Jenn were hiding. Shaunie was upset she didn’t get any notification that Jenn was there and her needing to talk to Jenn shouldn’t have came through Suzie. Tami tried to interject her thoughts into the situation, but no one cares what she has to say. The group also wondered about the fish prank on Kenya. Tami and Shaunie decided to go get Kenya to allow Evelyn to apologize for the bottle throwing incident and to get a whiff of Kenya’s hut. The smell was terrible as they approached the hut and when Kenya opened her door, the stench almost overwhelmed Shaunie. Kenya didn’t seem to notice at all, which could prove her mental imbalance, or her lack of experience with seaside resorts. Kenya decided to come out and talk with everyone. Kenya sat down with a crazy look in her eyes and adjusted her chair to be sure she had room to attack. She wanted to pounce on Evelyn, but before she could, Evelyn apologized, which made Kenya emotional. She was prepared to fight Ev and the apology made her stop. Kenya’s eyes continued to show hints of craziness and Shaunie was genuinely afraid. The girls then had a loose vs. hoe discussion that I guess they agreed to disagree on. Kenya then admitted to Shaunie that she is in fact a bit crazy. Shaunie seemed uncomfortable around Kenya, and the whole situation was very intense. Kenya also spoke about Jenn and how she was upset because Tahiti reminded her of her honeymoon. Kenya also took great joy out of hearing about Kesha’s situation and departure. Tami’s giggling during the Kesha recap showed her imbalance and lack of remorse, she is a phony. Kenya then went to get Jennifer and they went to the restaurant to sit down and eat. Kenya told Jenn about Evelyn’s apology and Jenn seemed happy about that, but when an Evelyn-Jennifer reconciliation was discussed, she was not interested in that at all. Tami and Shaunie then went over to talk to Jenn. Shaunie was upset with Jenn, but Jenn played her aloofness off as her being tired from the travel. Jenn was very adamant she did not want to talk to Evelyn ever. They are not friends and it is what it is and was what it was and will be what it will be. I hate the saying it is what it is, why not just stop at, it is? Jenn said the relationship was past the point of no return and there was nothing left to say.
Evelyn was hanging by herself on the other side of the restaurant. She couldn’t hold it in any longer and went over to Jenn. Evelyn wanted to lay everything out on the table for her own closure on the relationship, but Jenn had already closed that book in her life and wanted to move on. This happens a lot with break-ups, one person moves on and the other person always feels like they still had more to say. Jenn then walked away, not giving Evelyn any time to get her words off her chest, which by the way was looking extra plum this episode. The conclusion was that the girls were not friends, but Evelyn wanted more drama I guess and wanted the world to know what kind of person Jenn really is. Evelyn’s intense emotions show how much Jenn must have hurt her and the fact that she would not let it just go means that either she really wants camera time, or she feels betrayed on some intense level. The show ended with Evelyn stalking Jenn begging for a minute to talk. Jenn had nothing to say and didn’t want any part of Evelyn’s potentially violent temper. Next week I predict more verbal fighting, beautiful scenery, and Suzie has to get shitface drunk at some point on this trip, right? Give us what we want!
