Episode 2: Momager Dearest
Kim has Kylie and Kendal over for some girl bonding. They talk and play with fake eyelashes.
At lunch Kris picks on Mason’s pink outfit and tells a story about meeting the Voice judge – Kourt asks if she banged him backstage b/c having a husband didn’t stop her from cheating in the past.
Seventeen magazine hires Kendell and Kylie to be west coast contributors, they get business cards and everything. First task, they have to pick random girls out of a crowd and ask them about modeling. Kendall is super shy and Kylie has to do all the talking. This pisses Kylie off, why should she do all the work? She shares this frustration with Kim and Kim tells her to rest and think of how hard this might be for Kendall, Kim understands b/c she use to be shy too. She says she will go with the girls next time and assist.
Kim and Kourtney have lunch. Kourt admits she is mad about mom’s book, why did she have to taking her sharing to another level? Can’t we leave the past in the past? They have enough new drama to focus on right? Kim tells Khloe about Kourt’s feelings and Khloe thinks Kourtney shouldn’t judge mom. They both think therapy may be good for Kourtney and/or mom.
First dinner at Kourtney’s new house, of course a chef is there to do the cooking and serving. Kris winks at him and Kourt is just fed up. Act your age Kris, stop flirting and pay attention to your husband who went missing last week. Kris is pissed and calls Kourtney outside, away from the group. She demands the comments and rude treatment stop. Kourt says she just can’t relate to mom and questions why she wrote this tell all book, b/c she is a mom too and couldn’t imagine doing what Kris did! Back in the house Scott tries to help Kourtney deal with her emotions, but she won’t tell him what is going on. Scott is upset that she keeps everything to herself and no one can help her.
Kris cries to Bruce, literally. She tells him the affair wasn’t about anyone else, but her.
Kylie, Kendell and Kim go looking for more models. Kendell dives right in and starts talking to a girl..after that it was smooth sailing. The 3 girls then go hiking with Bruce. Crazy Bruce had to take a spider and throw it at Kim, knowing she hates them and would go nuts.
Khloe and Kourtney do a video chat (Khloe is still is Texas). Kourtney is going to see her counselor and talk about her mom. Of course the counselor does house calls. They talk about her issues with mom, the affair, her being a mom and recurring issues with Scott. While she can’t really relate to her mom, b/c she would never want to cheat, she acknowledges that she needs to cool her attitude. She also approaches Scott and tells him she is sorry for tuning him out and she wants to share more with him.
Kim is back at the house with Bruce and he throws a spider on her…why does Bruce always have spiders around him? Kim needs to get Bruce back. She calls Bruce’s son Brandon who agrees to take Bruce out. They take (Kim’s) Ferrari to go ride go-carts. Kim pulls up with Scott and a spare key to the car. She moves the car. Bruce comes out and is frantic, believing the car was stolen – he immediately calls Kris. Scott and Kim watch Bruce spaz for a few minutes and then pull up…MTV should take note – this was better than some of their Punk’d episodes.
Kourtney goes to see Kris. Typical Kris bought a present for Kourt’s unborn daughter – Kourt isn’t pleased with how mom likes to buy affection.She tells her about therapy and they hug it out.
Kim goes to see Bruce, Kendell and Kylie. When she sits down, there is a glass jar of spiders – enough with these bugs already! She freaks, but then sits with them..dumb.
