Buddy got an order from a very important client that did not want to be mentioned. The cake was for a Bar mitzvah at the Venetian in Las Vegas. The kid loves basketball, so Buddy made a basketball court in an old roman stadium. There was also going to be a slot machine with the kids face on it that would be added to the cake in Vegas. Buddy went all out for this mystery VIP client. The cake had to be shipped to Vegas and Buddy and a few of his guys met the cake at the Venetian hotel and casino. The Cake made it in one piece and the slot machine fit perfectly on the huge cake. The kid and all his friends thought it was amazing and the client remained anonymous.

A local restaurant owner came in asking Buddy for a traditional King cake. A King cake is more like an apple pastry and it has a toy baby baked into it and whoever gets the baby has to throw the next party. The restaurant was a New Orleans theme and the cake was for Fat Tuesday of Mardi Gras. Carlo’s Bakery made the King cake huge, but kept it traditional. The end result looked great with added beads and a butter cream base. The client was thrilled.

During a consultation Anthony and Maurizio interrupted Buddy with some childish antics. Buddy was embarrassed and upset at the kids for their lack of professionalism. Buddy then plotted to get back at the boys. He invited Anthony to the King cake delivery to party for Fat Tuesday. Buddy then had a beautiful young “lady” hit on Anthony and he ate it up. Before the ultra aggressive Anthony went to far, Buddy revealed the lady was a man. I think she looked great and Anthony took it almost too well. As for Maurizio, during the trip to Vegas he foolishly agreed to go on a indoor gondola ride in the Venetian. Buddy then threw him out of the boat and made him swim back.
