Episode 19: Part 1 of the Season Finale: Let Them Eat Cake

Tamra meets Heather and Gretchen to tell them all about the proposal and show off the ring. No Vicki, she didn’t return Tamra’s phone call. Weird how they were there for each during the Simon drama, but have slowly drifted apart. Tamra shares a photo album of pics from the trip with the 2 ladies.

Alexis has lunch with Sara Winchester – remember her from fighting Vicki at the bowling alley. Didn’t know Alexis and Sara were BFF. Alexis tells her about Costa Rica and the gang up. Alexis has called all of her ‘real’ long term friends and asked them what they think of her and are the accusations the other housewives are making real? Verdict – NOPE, all her other friends say no way. Find out Jim will not be Alexis’ date to Heather’s name changing party and asks Sara to go instead. Don’t blame him for not wanting to go alone, but really, Sara?

Heather is getting ready for the party at her lavish home – we got- white furniture set up outside, bars, food, beautiful flowers, everyone will be given a glass with a diamond – one person will get a real diamond, others get a CZ. Oh and the cake arrives and isn’t what Heather was picturing…check it out, what do you think? It’s nice, maybe not $550 nice, plus not huge and bling in your face, with diamonds on the bottom like Heather was expecting.

Brooks picks up Vicki and gives her a fur coat – a real one, aren’t we over these now? They aren’t cool, nor the fact that Brooks without a job has money to buy one? K, so he used Vicki’s money and bought her a coat and she makes sure she tells EVERYONE at the party he bought it.

Eddie picks up Tamra and they talk about how Vicki thinks Tamra is moving too quickly with Eddie. Granted the divorce just went through with Simon, but she has been dating Eddie for 2 years – divorce paper work takes a long time I guess.

Terry talks to Heather while she is getting ready and asks about what to expect from Alexis. Jim has already invited Terry to lunch to discuss issues, way more classy then talking it out at a formal party. Heather says if Alexis gets out of hand she will be removed from the party.

Alexis and Sara take a limo ride over to the party and Alexis is clear that she doesn’t want to discuss Costa Rica or approach Terry, Jim will handle it – nice move Alexis, she is growing on me. Meanwhile, Sara says she will confront Terry…Alexis tells her no.

Everyone is stunned when they walk into Heather and Terry’s house, it is breath taking with the decorations and view, things are going smooth. Gretchen and Slade bought Heather and Terry matching monogram wine glasses, very thoughtful. Sara grabs some balls from the kitchen to eat. Slade looks all Hollywood in his black turtleneck.

Then a blast from the past arrives, Jeana and her daughter Kara. Tamra is in shock and doesn’t know what to do. Kara knows exactly what to do, put on a rain jacket to protect her dress from Tamra’s wine throwing (remember last season she threw a glass of wine in Jeana’s face). This gets Tamra’s attention and she asks to talk with Kara.The young lady calls Tamra out for her immature behavior, attacking her mother and wondering when they all stopped being friends. Tamra puts on the water works and says they have no idea how things were with Simon, the press and she apologizes. They hug, Jeana even comes over and shares a hug, then Eddie.

Things are awkward with Vicki and Brianna, who haven’t seen each other since their last big talk..and next week more comes out of this.

Just when you thought all was well…Sara breaks off a piece of the bow on Heather’s cake and Heather goes into attack mode along with Terry, Vicki and Tamra on her side. Alexis doesn’t see the big deal and tells Sara to apologize. Sara goes on a rant claiming she needs the sugar, it’s not a big deal, Heather can have her credit card and buy another one, they are fake and need to stop ganging up on people, blah blah…drama, love it. Heather tells her she could get food in the kitchen, then gives her an Oreo. Vicki asks how she was raised, Terry tells her she can’t buy another cake..Heather eventually tells her to go cool off. Vicki thinks Sara doesn’t have a sugar problem, but rather an alcohol problem – agreed! Alexis even told her to switch to water. Poor Alexis I’m sure will end up in the middle.
