Episode 5, Kendra Goes Back to School

Remember each week there are back to back 30 minute episodes.

Lil Hank isn’t so little anymore at the big 2.5 years old and it may be time for pre-school. He is smart, talking up a storm knowing his colors and he needs other kids to play with. Lil Hank may be ready for school, but is Kendra? She meets her friend Bethany at the park with Lil Hank and her kids. She tells Kendra about her daughter Lexi and how she was #67 on a wait list for pre-school. She suggests making appointments to see the schools and to be ready to kinda be interviewed herself about what she does, etc. Kendra agrees she will say she is an entrepreneur, as long as no one asks her to spell it.

Kira the publicist calls and Hank’s shoot for the movie roll he got is moved up to tomorrow. Same time as the pre-school interviews/tours. So Kendra will be going alone.

Kendra and Jessica go shopping for the pre-school tours and she finds the perfect dress. She picked her top 3 schools and scheduled appointments. 1st school = Canoga Park Pre-School and Kendra meets with Dr. Bob the director. She fills out a form and then was confused about what to ask Dr. Bob, she was overwhelmed.

2nd school = they had a great sports program, Kendra was into sports and wants Lil Hank to try them too.

3rd school = Montessori, meets with Dr. Negin the director. Hank attends this one with Kendra and by now Kendra is a pro and knows what to ask..learning styles, etc.

Hank meets with Ron the film director and plays a VJ in the movie, he gets frustrated with his lines at first and then nails it.

Hank and Kendra drunk cry while they talk about Lil Hank and make their decision – Montessori.

Big day…they drive Lil Hank to his new school and he is excited to play with his new friends. Ms. Vida greets them.

Kendra says Lil Hank will get street smarts from her and academic smarts from Hank…next up, PTA.
