Maci went to Florida with her friends so she could be close to Bentley during his week long vacation with Ryan and his family. Ryan’s new girlfriend Dallas seemed ok with Maci being nearby, but Ryan was not sure Bentley needed to see Maci during his time. Maci is very jealous that Ryan’s girlfriend is spending time with Bentley. Ryan invites Maci down to the beach to see Bentley. Maci had about 30 girls with her as she walked up to her son, but Bentley was very upset that daddy left for a little bit. It was a very sad moment, but an honest depiction of one of the issues with separated parents. Ryan left with Bentley and Maci was very sad, but she still talked shit about Dallas. One of Maci’s friends took the Oprah role and asked her some difficult questions. Maci didn’t seem to realize that she has the rest of Bentley’s life to interact with Ryan and his girlfriends. Where did these 20 girlfriends of Maci come from? Did we see them the last 3 seasons and I missed it?
A very orange tan Maci met with Ryan to take a family picture with Bentley. Dallas decided not to be in the pictures. Maci invited Dallas and Ryan to the club for the night, but Ryan was leery of Maci’s motives, while Dallas seemed interested. Maci again gossiped with her friends about Dallas at dinner. Ryan declined the clubbing invitation graciously.
Farrah’s neighbor Adam returned from his trip. Farrah had been watching his dog and she called her friend to say she had a crush on Adam. Sophia still had her pacifier in her mouth for some reason, even though I think she is 10 now. Farrah decided to go on a date with Adam, but she didn’t want Sophia to meet him. They went to hit some golf balls, but two large pillows in Farrah’s tank top seemed to be bothering her swing. Adam asked her out on a second date, but Farrah is not sure he is boyfriend material.
Farrah’s mom called to wish her a happy 20th birthday. Farrah continued her rude attitude towards her mom and snapped at her for every question. Farrah and Sophia went to the zoo and got some VIP treatment on a golf cart tour. They fed the giraffes and Sophia rode the music less merry-go-round. Adam showed up for the dinner date with flowers and a tight shirt. Adam seemed too cool for school and very laid back. Farrah got very defensive about her plans in life and showed her vast immaturity despite her claims of being “30” because she has a kid. She was very upset that Adam told her to relax and take a vacation day. Farrah called her sister to tell her that she is not interested in Adam anymore. Her sister just fed into Farrah’s complex.
Catelynn and Tyler are hanging out for the summer. Tyler’s dad Butch got out of jail and Tyler picked him up. Butch still is not allowed to see Catelynn’s mom April and Tyler reiterated the house rules to his dad while he stayed there during his parole. Butch got to see his son Nick and Catelynn started to come around to living with Butch. Tyler was not confident his dad was going to stay out of jail. Midway through the show, Butch was missing for the whole day and Tyler was fed up with him. Butch never came home and Tyler felt like he had to be his dad’s dad. Tyler came to grips with throwing his Dad out on the street. Butch came back and didn’t realize he stressed Tyler out so much. Butch apologized and promised to not let it happen again.
Gary and Leah got permission to visit Amber in California at her rehab facility. Amber told her therapist about her issues with Gary so they could be addressed during some couple therapy. Amber was nervous Leah had forgotten her. Once Gary arrived in California, the therapist told Amber that Leah, Gary, and Amber could not be all together at the same time. This upset Amber a lot, but any combination of two family members could be together. Amber embraced Gary with a big hug and then she got to see Leah. Leah was very happy to see her mom and they had some good swing time. Gary and Amber had a therapy session and Gary confirmed his love for Amber. Amber continued her psychotic actions with an outburst about Gary “wearing his heart where his dick is” and she stormed off. Gary is getting laid? Really? Seriously? I know it happened once, but recently? That super confuses me. Heavyset guys can get action, but this soft-spoken, tilted hat wearing punching bag should not be getting lots of strange. Should not happen. Sorry for the rant, but its ridiculous.
Amber came back and appeared to be high. She then promised she had changed and asked Gary if they could go steady. WTF is going on in this relationship? He has begged her to be with her for 2 years and now he says he wants to see how the week goes before he commits to going steady? Get the fuck out of here!
Amber and Gary need to call it quits already.
Seriously. I think gary plays mind games we don’t see on tv. He must be some sort of Jedi if he is getting women to like him. I still can’t believe amber chose 5 years in prison over rehab. I really wonder if losing all that weight affected her mentally.

relationship is real or that MTV is just making it look like all teen moms should give their baby up for adoption?
Gary probably does, Amber needs to realize she can be independent.
Cat/Ty, i think their relationship is real. I mean who wants to deal with all that family drama? But they chose each other. Other teen moms who chose adoption are not so lucky. I think MTV is trying to say, a couple can chose adoption and still be together.
All of these young adults are young and are going through the process of growing up and becoming adults just like i did. And it may take a few more yrs to mature but they will.
Tyler seems to be the most mature out of the bunch. My one concern is that is that they will think they are grown ups just because they have a kid. Farrah mentioned that a few times, but in reality she is still a kid who just happens to have a kid.
