Episode 5: Heartbreak and Betrayal

Pia visits Nora and Nora tells her about the Renee confrontation. She says she would rather dance than hang around her..no offense to Pia at all..hmm what? At least be nice to Pia, she may be your only friend.

Leah takes her mother, Jacquie to lunch. Her mom was just diagnosed with breast cancer. Leah is trying to stay strong for her mom and knows she will beat it.

Renee and Christina go shopping and Renee drops the Nora bomb on her. Christina is in shock and thinks Nora is burning all of her bridges in town. Renee doesn’t see Nora ever being in her life again.

Pia and Nora have a dog play date. Nora starts talking about Renee again and Pia tells her to forget about Renee…she is SO tired of hearing about it. Nora is just so emotional about it and Pia is done hearing the same stories over and over again..she screams at Nora to leave Renee alone! Pia calls it out that Nora and Renee weren’t that close and to get over it.

Christina meets with her therapist. She is divorced, but still lives with her ex and her daughter doesn’t know anything is wrong. Well, her daughter heard from a neighbor/friend that her parents are divorced and told the friend she was wrong. Christina finally told her daughter, nope, they are divorced, now the daughter wants to know why she was lied to. Now she has to deal with trust issues in the family. She cries.

Nora is putting together a birthday party for herself. Invites Christina, who is hesitate at first to go in a party bus to an undisclosed place, but she will bring Leah.

Renee and Giana (her daughter) meet for coffee. Renee has her ashes on her forehead from Ash Wednesday. She offers to go visit Giana’s dad in prison with her. Giana doesn’t think it is a good idea. She will ask her dad what he thinks first.

Christina and Leah meet for Starbucks. Leah tells Christina about her mom’s cancer.

Leah and Pia meet to buy Nora a gift. They talk about the Renee and Nora drama and buy Nora a leopard print top, b/c she is animal like.

Giana gets a call from her dad in prison. They talk every day! Wow, how much does that cost for all them collect calls? Does she ever think about the fact that he killed another person? Giana asks about her mom coming with her to see her dad, dad laughs and says it is up to Giana if she wants to bring mom.

Bus party for Nora – Christina, Leah, Pia, Desiree – Nora’s friend, they talk about guys. Nora takes the girls go-karting. Leah not happy about it. Christina always wanted to be a race car driver, so she is excited. Pia can’t do it b/c of the new boobs. They have bday cake. This was the party she never had as a kid, parents wouldn’t let their kids hang with Nora b/c of who her dad was.

Giana and her friend Marco go to dinner. They talk about whether mom should go with her to see dad. She has no idea what to do.

In the party van, Christina says she is happy she is getting along with everyone and wants to throw a party for everyone to a new beginning. Christina asks if Nora would come if Renee came, she says she has to think about it..and then goes off on a rant..cursing and bashing.

Renee visits Christina at her house and looks at the dress she designed for Renee. Christina invites Renee to her party, celebrate her freedom. Renee points out that she shouldn’t have given Nora money for food and let her starve or paid her cell phone bill for 3 months.

Pia and Nora hit up the gym. Pia says she should come to Christina’s party, b/c she came to hers. Nora doesn’t know, she has too much going on with Renee and Pia should stay out of it. Nora tells Pia to drop it, then STOP bringing it up Nora. Now, Pia wants to know why Renee doesn’t like her? Nora says b/c she dances, Pia thinks that is funny, b/c Renee has other friends that dance…Nora wants to know who? Oh she means NORA! What..Nora is a dancer too and it is a big secret..oh boy..Yup, Nora has worked at VIP. Nora says she only worked there for 4 months. Pia thinks Nora ran her mouth to Renee, laid the ground work to pin her against Pia. They start hollering…Nora calls Pia a whore and says she does more than just dance with her clients..think prostitute. Here we go…another enemy for Nora.
