Big Brother 14: Week three: Shane dominates all aspects of the game except modesty, Frank gets a surprise, and America severely changes the game

Head of Household

Shane won a very straight forward HOH competition as he his a ball with a hockey stick into a slot worth more points than any of the other players did. This is the second time that a person put up for elimination has come back to win the HOH the following week. Shane needs to use this power to gain some much needed help in the house, as his other two teammates are gone.

Coaches’ Competition

It was a working out challenge with a lot of importance. There were 3 rounds of unique athletic workouts. Britney was first to be eliminated and she had to pick 2 players to be on slop for the week. Ian again volunteered in his pathetic way of garnering favor within the house. She also picked Joe. Boogie was next to be eliminated and he won $10,000. He had to split the money up a bit and he gave Ian $3,000 and Jenn $1,000, while he took the big $6,000 chunk. Ian got very emotional and he welled up and was blown away by the money. Janelle won the competition. Dan did win a cocktail party with sushi and drinks for him and 5 guests in the house. He selected all the coaches to block some deal making and he selected Shane and Danielle.  Janelle decided to not trade any of her players and saved Wil from possible eviction.

Nominations

Shane decided to put Ashley and Joe up for elimination

Power of Veto competition

Frank Eudy

Joe, Ashley, Shane, Danielle, Frank, and Wil all participated in a ball rolling competition. Ashley made it to the final two left, but Shane again showed his dominance and won the power of veto. This is Shane’s third POV win and he has put a target on his back because of his dominance.  Shane decided to take Ashley off the block and put Frank up on the block.

Major events in the house

Ashley confirmed she is a modern day hippie who happens to like rap music. Joe tried to suck up tom Shane by making him breakfast in bed and it annoyed him. Shane wanted to work with Frank, while Britney wanted Frank to go up. Jenn told her “coming out” story and it was very touching. Danielle made a final two deal with Shane, but I am not sure how realistic that is since Danielle has proven to be one of the weakest players in the house.

Joe went to Shane to try and say he wanted to work with him, but it turned into a curse filled rant about how much being up for eviction sucks. Yeah no shit Joe! Janelle tried to bribe Shane’s trust by offering to let him hold her wedding ring as a guarantee she would have her team keep him safe. Joe then yelled in confessional again and tried to talk to Shane one more time.

Ian

Dan took the coaches, Shane, and Danielle on their sushi dinner party. They came back to a crazy party in the BB house. The houseguests were playing spin the bottle and Ian got another miracle granted as it landed on Ashley. Ian went in hard for the kiss, but Ashley went for the hesitant peck. Shane and Danielle had a passionate kiss from the game. Ian gave Britney a shady answer that set the wheels in motion for Frank to go up for a backdoor eviction.

Janelle’s team started to question her actions and condescending attitude. Wil especially was upset at the idea that Janelle was the only reason he was still in the game. Janelle shed some fake teams, but Wil knows dramatic performances when he sees them.

**Super big twists

America voted to allow the coaches to choose to rest the game and play as individual competitors for the $500,000 grand prize. If even one coach wanted to enter the game, they all had to. Julie Chen also revealed that previously evicted housemates would return and there would be no eviction this week. Britney was first to make the decision and she decided to reset the game.  Boogie did not want to rest the game. Dan decided to reset the game and Janelle also hit the reset button.

 Eviction

There was no eviction because the game was reset and all the players and coaches became individual players. All the housemates then played for Head of Household.
