The first customer of the show was a guy looking for $200 for a pinkie ring. Ashley and another employee started asking a lot of questions and then started calling the guy names. He snapped and wanted to do business and not be made to look stupid. Ashley apologized, but her estimate for the ring was way lower than the guy thought was fair and he was still mad about the disrespect he was shown. The guy then went psycho as he was thrown out.
There was a beautiful woman named Amy working in the store. She had been a good saleswoman two years ago before she left. Les hired her back and Seth was very upset because she made alot of mistakes when she used to work at the store. Les said her looks and knowledge would increase business and up profits. Seth was watching Amy like a hawk. Ashley was not on Seth’s side because Amy was a selling machine. She must have turned Seth down because he was very salty about seeing her in the store. Amy lived up to her reputation as she was selling alot of merchandise. Late in the show Les discovered a ring box with a ring in it and it turned out Amy was behind the mistake. Les called Amy to the back immediately and then was nonchalant about the problem. A customer was set to get a big surprise when he opened the box. Seth used the mistake to thrash Amy and he demanded to talk to Les about the issue with Amy. Les defended Amy and her great selling ability, while Seth guaranteed she would cost the store money at some point.
Next, a guy came in with an old 13” TV. He had a sob story, but it had to be a joke. Seth did not make an offer and the young guy went crazy. The guy begged Seth and made a huge spectacle of himself. He then dragged the TV out of the store by the plug. After he threw the TV into the large outside trash bin he jumped in after it. Seth had to kick the stinky guy off the property.
Another young guy came in with a mini bike replica Harley Davidson. The guy wanted $200 for it and it worked. Seth offered $30 and the guy went all the way down to $65 for the sale. Seth and Les tag teamed the guy and made him look silly.
A guy came in to sell his locked–up girlfriend’s ring, but the ring was already on pawn and he did not have the pawn slip. The guy acted like he could just access the information because he had a name. The employee told him that there was nothing she could do and he became very irate. He then called her a bitch a few times and she told him to leave. Les came up to tell the guy to F off and take his story walking out the down. The guy called Les out and Les went out to the front to confront the dude. Les, oh wait his 300 pound security guard threw the guy out.
A guy came in with a letter signed by Babe Ruth and a signed collage of the first players inducted into the Hall of Fame. The HOF picture was out of Seth’s price range. They then negotiated for the Babe Ruth letter. The guy wanted $1,500 and after Seth low balled him a few times until the sale went through at $1,000. Seth was pumped about the buy.
