Hardcore Pawn 8/7: A Stanley Mouse original piece of art, punches and screaming, toilet bowl go carts, and 30 days of interest free cash

A women went up to the redeem window and asked about the stores “free cash” promotion. The deal was a new customer could get 30 days of no interest on a loan. The lady thought she would get 30 days of free money, like literally the store would just give her 30 days of cash. The lady went crazy and said she needs her cash. Seth then asked the lady if she could read and the lady then began to argue with another woman in line. The two started to fight and had to be separated and they were thrown out. The two went at it in the parking lot for a bit before the original lady drove off.

An older gentleman Steve came in with a genuine piece of Detroit art memorabilia.  It was a Stanley Mouse designed T-shirt, but Les did not know much about the item. The guy wanted $200, but quickly caved for $60. Seth thought the piece was trash.  Rich was going through some of the stuff in the back and saw the Stanley Mouse framed T-shirt and told Les it was probably worth a lot of money. They did some investigation and found that it could be worth up to $3,000 retail. Stanley Mouse did a lot of art for the Grateful Dead. Rich called up a friend who would be interested to try and sell the piece. John came in to check out the original Stanley Mouse piece. The guy confirmed that is was a Stanley Mouse original. Les asked $3,000, but the guy offered $1,200. They settled on $2,200 for the art after Les showed off his great negotiation skills. Les gloated about his great buy and Seth had to eat crow again.

Ashley then started a transaction with guy who wanted an appraisal for a ring. A woman came in and said the ring was here and she slapped the guy because he took the ring from her the day before because he needed motorcycle parts. The women then punched the guy square in the chin and she demanded her ring back from Ashley. The guy took it all in stride and acted like it was normal. He even apologized to the woman for taking the ring.

A young guy went up to Les trying to sell an antique “washing machine”. The guy had no idea how it worked and Les filled him in that it was actually a wine press. The guy then said it came from his great, great, great, great, great grad father of his baby’s momma. Les asked how great the grandfather was because it was a reproduction piece. Les offered only 5 dollars and the guy took the deal. It was a joke of a negotiation.

A guy came to the shop with racing toilets. They were used as party favors to be rented out. They went 12 MPH and Les and Seth took them for a test RUN. The father and son had a blast racing around the parking lot on the porcelain go carts. The guy wanted $1,800 for the pair and Seth was shocked by the price. There was no deal, but Lest was able to get some easy puns into the show.

A frantic lady went up to a window and demanded service without waiting in line. She claimed her boyfriend pawned her TV and she didn’t have any slip or receipt, but she needed her TV immediately. She refused to wait in line and she was yelling from the start. There was nothing that could be done for the lady, so Ashley told the lady to go to the police. The lady went nuts and she headed over to the TV section of the store and started yelling more and demanding her TV. The lady then got thrown out of the store, but she vowed to come back. She then took a traffic cone from the parking lot.

  1. Lester Gold is a thief who takes advantage of desperate people. He is a disgrase to all pawn brokers. Rick Harrison from pawn stars would have given the guy alot more money then $60 after selling the shirt for $2,200. Lester Gold is just a big asshole as well as a thief! I cannot believe how bad he ripps off the people that pay his bills. He is a bad person and will one day get what he deserves. He is a dishonestpoor excuse for a human. He should not be allowed to steal from his customers the way he does. He is rich from ripping off his customers that need money. I hate him and I hope he pays for all the underhanded shit he does.
