Another show I have heard so much about and finally sat down and watched…and I couldn’t stop laughing.

This week on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo…

Alana a.k.a Honey Boo Boo and her sister Pumpkin walk a few feet across the street to a gas station to buy some junk food. Weird thing, Pumpkin doesn’t wear shoes. I am a total germ freak and wanted her to scrub her feet and protect them! The employees say their family is in there all the time shopping, which definitely helps to keep the place in business.

Alana’s dad goes by the name Sugar Bear. I love the nicknames, but wonder why Alana never actually calls her dad, dad?

Father-daughter date. Sugar Bear and Alana go to the Fun Factory. They play games together, laugh and have a good old time, just the two of them. They try to roller skate, but fall, take off their skates and just run around in their socks, much safer. Before they leave Alana trades in her tickets for an inflatable hammer.

Alana’s sister, Chickadee is due to give birth soon and starts having contractions. A discussion on how the baby comes out of your biscuit is had.

Next, the family does something I have never seen before. Ever played “Guess Whose Breath?” OMG, well this family who admits to not frequently brushing their teeth, plus I always see Sugar Bear doing dip, want to blow their nasty breath in another family member’s face, while they are blindfolded. The person blindfolded will guess whose gnarly breath it is. I mean I almost threw up in my mouth at the site of the game. While shouting out hilarious descriptions of each breath including, booty-boo and ASS, Chickadee laughs so hard she pees through her clothes on to the couch, so gross.

To raise money for her next pageant, Alana hosts a lemonade stand. Her sisters try to flag people down, no such luck. Here comes Honey Boo Boo to get the job down and she makes $25 in profit.

Here is my thought on the show. This show/family has been making headlines that people watch the show to make fun of the family, well, that is most of reality TV. Seriously, we watch to see what people are going to do, how they react, share emotions..and maybe even act in ways we wish we could. For example, this family may not be perfect, but in whose eyes? They all love each other, take care of each other and have fun together. Many may envy that. Or the fact that they spend so much time together or don’t worry about the latest fashion or fads. I am definitely adding the show to my weekly recapping.
