Season 1, Episode – “Ah-chooo!”
Alana has one of the biggest pageants coming up and man are they expensive. June wants to try and save as much money as possible and tries to learn how to do Alana’s make-up. The salon’s makeup artist does half of Alana’s face, beautifully, explaining to June the exact way to do it. Next, June attempts to do the other half of Alana’s face and fails miserably. I mean she looked like a clown, I think Alana even said she looked like a street walker. I mean June didn’t even know where Alana’s eyebrows were, there is no way she can do the girl’s make up. Sorry June. Maybe cut more coupons?
Next, another attempt at making money for the pageant and also having some family time, the gang heads to BINGO. Everyone is excited, the last game is worth $1,000. June takes BINGO very seriously and even has a special face she puts on which is hilarious – she can’t see that well and has to squint her whole face to see the numbers, as opposed to just listening for them. Alana thinks she may have BINGO, but didn’t and thinks the other players were cheating.

Some how, Miss. Georgia makes a special appearance on the show. She goes shopping with Alana and then they have lunch. Alana shows she needs to work on her manners, like not talking with food in her mouth or farting at the table. No worries though, Miss. Georgia still gave her a signed head shot of herself…oh how nice.
Alana turns 7 and gets a big old party. I’m talking water slide, BBQ, snow cones – which at one point June says she will stop harassing the man for so many. June even tries to climb up the stairs to come down the slide, but gave up. In case you are wondering, she will NEVER take off her socks, b/c her toes are messed up from when a fork lift ran them over. She is self conscious about it.
Alana’s sisters, Pumpkin, Chickadee and Chubbs don’t have any money, so they went shopping in the kitchen and wrapped up hot sauce and soap and it ended up being Alana’s favorite present. Cheers to the simple life 
Worst part ever – at the end the show does an interview with Honey Boo Boo and she sneezes. Not just a normal sneeze. I’m talking full snot dripping down the noise…so gross…then the camera keeps it on her for like ever 4 minutes…I almost lost my dinner and had to fast forward.
